The VacDrain Vacuum toilet is pneumatic type toilet, it is controlled by vacuum. Complete standard vacuum toilet includes toilet bowl, push button, discharge valve, water valve, flushing ring, hose, white seat and cover etc. Vacuum toilet is connected with sewage drainage pipe DN40 via rubber connector (with stainless steel clamps).

The VacDrain Kitchen waste food vacuum collecting system complies with MARPOL 73/78 Annex V, MEPC 159(55). The electricity complies with IEC or NEMA. The Kitchen waste food vacuum collecting system is designed to transfer waste food from kitchen preparation and scullery areas at a speed of approximately 25 meter/second to a holding tank located in an engine room, or loading by no more than 100meter distance from point of food deposit. Different types of food waste collecting system have been designed and applied to many vessels and platforms by VacDrain team. The VacDrain Garbage chute system is designed for solid waste on the ship. Stainless steel garbage chute vertically lays and fixes on the ship’s deck and it is equipped with delivery doors on the specified deck according to shipyard’s agreement. There is a self-locking function between each level of delivery door, that is, when one is opened, the other doors will be automatically closed. One shredder is installed at the bottom of the garbage chute with one fire damper which is used for fire and smoke prevention. After crushing, the rubbish will be collected in the 10m³ stainless steel containers.

The garbage chute is equipped with cleaning system and ventilation system.

Vacuum collection technology

The tank material is stainless steel 316, volume is one cubic meter. Balance loop pump can guarantee the smooth starting of pump.

Use of a sewage vacuum pump to create vacuum is a new principle. A sewage vacuum pump can transport sewage and air together from one side to another side. One side pipe is connected to the vacuum toilet and the other side is connected to the sewage treatment plant, sewage collecting tank or overboard directly. This type vacuum pump can be lobe pump or liquid-ring screw pump etc.

VacDrain Collecting Tank

Vacuum collecting device includes: two sets of independent vacuum collection tank units, each including: two sets of water ring vacuum pump, two sets of sewage pump, two pcs vacuum pressure switches, one pc vacuum pressure gauge, one pc PLC control panel, two pcs vacuum collection tank, one mounting foundation and valves and connecting pipes and circuit. The tank material is a stainless steel 316, volume is one cubic meter. Balance loop pump can guarantee the smooth starting of pump.
